Let's Talk

 Believe. Study. Listen.  Learn.
Let's Talk is an open forum for women to openly discuss topics, concerns, pray and do a little Bible Study. It's a space where we can keep ourselves accountable and fellowship. It's here were you can be encouraged and inspired. Just like any discipline it is easy to get off track with bible study. Our group will stay on track with study plans and have open discussion about scripture and insight. I encourage you to engage us in our discussions and share what God puts on your heart to share. We want a safe and respectful atmosphere so please be respectful, kind, and empathetic. The age old rule applies, if you can't say something nice then don't say it at all. Let's pray before we begin,

"Father, I pray that people can come here and be blessed and walk away feeling your love, grace and transformation. May this be a place of joy and peace that provide a sanctuary for those who seek to better themselves and those around them. We love you and place you at the center of all discussion and responses - In Jesus Name, Amen."

Bible Study

Day 1: Proverbs & Psalms Chapter 1

What are some of the valuable insights you gained from reading the first chapter of Psalms and Proverbs?

Let's Talk

Discussion 4:#From Girl to Great

If you could go back in time and talk to yourself as a child, what advice would you give yourself?

Discussion 3: #HeartSpeak

After reading the blog post Heart Speak I want us to consider how we can change our language to match what we want to see for our lives and our country. What are your hopes for this country? What are your fears? For some of us things may feel incredibly scary right now. Let's all do our best to support those who are afraid. We love you and most of all God loves you too.

Discusion 2: #Love

After reading my most recent post, "December Nights" you got a chance to see just one of the ways my husband and I sought to give our children a memorable experience. In thinking about your own life, share how far you have gone for someone you love. It could have been something you did or said but we'd love to hear it. Each day we are overwhelmed with news stories of sorrow or that invoke fear. Let's make an effort to spread love. Your voice in this is so important.

Discussion 1: #Goals

As we start the new year it is customary for new goals to be set and planning to commence. Some people set New Year's Resolutions while others think about how to continue the goals they set the year before. Honestly it can be overwhelming. Not only do we set goals we have to think about how to get them done. Thankfully, we don't have to think and strategize alone. Maybe your dream or goal seems insurmountable. Your efforts may not be enough but the grace given by Christ is more than sufficient. If you believe that anything is possible, what goal would you love to accomplish? Let you mind go wild. Answer without inhibition, limitation, or restriction. What do you really want in 2017?
